MDS Awareness
From: $25.00
Lisa is a single Mom of two, a first grade teacher, and an overall incredible person. Around Christmas, she went to the doctor for what she thought was a common cold or illness. Things quickly escalated and she soon found herself at the emergency room receiving a blood transfusion. Fast forward to the beginning of February, where she heard the diagnosis. Lisa has MDS, also known as Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She will need chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Once treatment begins, it will span over the course of 6 months. It is recommended that she be out of work for 12 months, which as you know, will be financially, emotionally, and physically difficult for her and her family. This fundraiser will bring awareness to MDS, but will also put some funds back in to Lisa’s pocket. For every shirt sold, Lisa will receive $10. Please consider supporting her during this time.
